Entrance to the Fuente del Oro Fest Food Restaurant in Frontierland

Fuente del Oro Restaurant

Come on in, amigos! Step inside and enjoy churros, nachos and other delicious Tex-Mex dishes.

This restaurant no longer exists. The restaurant was renovated and reopened as Casa de Coco.

The design of this restaurant is reminiscent of a dining hall on one of the large haciendas in northern Mexico during the time of Benito Juárez. Here, too, the design is very well done, and it is especially enjoyable to sit on the terrace in summer and smile at the long queues at Big Thunder Mountain.

In addition to its sun-drenched terrace, the Fuente del Oro restaurant also offers cosy seating inside, which is thematically designed to match. Here you can feel like you're in the good old days of the Wild West, right on the border with Mexico.
Take a moment to look closely at the courtyard and the two dining rooms, and you will discover many lovely details you might otherwise not have noticed.

Since the release of the film Coco, during the Halloween season at Disneyland Paris, which is usually celebrated from the end of September, the Fuente del Oro is transformed into a Mexican hacienda, decorated for Dia de los Muertos. Dante, the funny dog from the film, is of course also there.

The menu at the Fuente del Oro Restaurante

This fast food restaurant appropriately offers Mexican specialities. Tacos, chillies and nachos are a must here, of course. For dessert, there is not only ice cream but also crispy churros, which, incidentally, go very well with coffee or hot chocolate.
You can choose between a set menu or individual dishes, depending on how hungry you are.
An inexpensive menu is offered for children, and for once, it does not include the typical French fries as a side dish.
So if you want to venture off the beaten track, this restaurant is the right place for you. But don't worry, it's not too exotic!

Kokopelli

Greeting every guest at the entrance gate, Kokopelli stands as a vibrant symbol woven into the restaurant’s story. Revered across the mythology of the Anasazi and other ancient Native American tribes, Kokopelli’s roots trace back to the Hopi spirit Kookopölö. This joyful figure embodies the abundance of nature and humanity, the magic of music, and a zest for life. His image, sometimes etched into stone more than 2500 years ago, can still be discovered throughout the Southwest.
Kokopelli has since become a symbolic figure for the Southwest of the United States.
While Kokopelli is usually shown playing his flute, the Disneyland version offers a twist: here, he wields a spear. This choice by the Imagineers draws on a lesser-known tradition in which Kokopelli uses a spear to keep evil spirits at bay. At Fuente del Oro, he stands guard at the entrance, ensuring a peaceful, worry-free dining experience for every guest.
