Short or even no queues at the most popular attractions in a theme park? That’s probably every rollercoaster fan’s dream. At Disneyland Paris, this has been part of the park experience for many years, thanks to the free Fastpass. Fastpass has since been replaced by Disney Premier Access.

Disney Premier Access is an optional digital service that allows you to reduce waiting times at attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight or the Tower of Terror if the regular queue is too long for you.
Unlike the former Fastpass, Disney Premier Access comes at a cost. If you want to use this service to bypass the regular queue, prices start at €5 per person and attraction. The price depends on the attraction and the date of your visit.
As an alternative to this priority access for individual attractions, there is also Disney Premier Access Ultimate, which you can activate for a day and use to gain fast-track access to 17 popular attractions across the two Disney Parks at Disneyland Paris. With Premier Access Ultimate, you can use each of the participating attractions once. It is available from €90 per person.

Disney Premier Access is not a new concept at Disney Parks. It has been in use for several years at the Shanghai Disney Resort. There, the service known as DPA is offered for particularly popular attractions such as Soaring Over the Horizon, Roaring Rapids, Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train and Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure.
In Shanghai, DPA is also used for some shows and other experiences, such as meeting Mickey Mouse in the Gardens of Imagination or the evening show Illuminate.

To use Disney Premier Access without any complications, you will need a smartphone and the official Disneyland Paris app. You can also book this access at selected locations within the parks, but the process is somewhat cumbersome and usually involves a bit of a wait.

How does Premier Access work?

As a guest at Disneyland Paris, you can book Disney Premier Access through the Disneyland Paris app.
If you plan ahead, you can also add Premier Access directly to your Disney Package.
You must first enter one of the two Disney Parks before you can book the pass through the app.
Participating attractions (see list below) have specific time slots. If one suits you, you can select it.
Then head to the attraction during your selected time slot and enjoy the experience without having to join the regular queue.
