Shows & parades at Disneyland Park

Daily highlights are the parade and the evening show at the castle, but there is much more ...

Disneyland is much more than just an amusement park. There are not only carousels and rollercoasters, but also lots of shows and of course the daily parade. Hardly any other park can keep up with this offer and Disney knows how to draw guests under its spell.
The pure Disney magic is expressed in the shows and parades and inspires guests young and old. The advantage that Disneyland can use is obvious: the familiarity of the characters and songs. Every child knows Mickey Mouse and Simba or the Disney princesses, everyone can sing Let it go and many other songs from the well-known films. Add the talent and creativity of Disney Imagineers to this. They know how to enchant and inspire visitors over and over again.
So, let yourself be enchanted and get an overview of the shows and parades that are currently offered in Disneyland Park. The highlights are certainly the parade that takes place every day, which bears the name Disney Stars on Parade, and of course the nightly projection show with fireworks at the fairytale castle: Disney Illuminations. You should definitely take these two program points into account when planning your day!
But that's not all, because there are usually other shows and smaller parades that change every year, depending on the season. For example, the focus at the Lion King & Jungle Festival is Balu, Simba & Co, while Santa Claus plays an important role during the Christmas season.
The best thing to do when you visit Disneyland Paris is to take a look at the current program at the park entrance to get an overview of which shows and parades are currently being offered and when and where they take place. In this way you will not miss anything and you will not miss a highlight.

Seasonal shows & parades at Disneyland

Throughout the year, Disneyland offers various seasonal events, the highlights of them certainly include Halloween and Christmas. On these occasions, Disneyland Park is not only decorated in an atmospheric way, but there is also a comprehensive entertainment programme that is tailored to the season.
During Christmas season, for example, the Christmas tree is festively lit every day and a small Christmas parade, the so-called Christmas Cavalcade, parades through the park.
On Halloween there is also a Calvacade and in addition to that one or the other show with the Villains or others with Disney figures in the suitable outfit.

An essential factor that contributes to the typical flair of the Disney parks is the street atmosphere, or short in Disney speak: Streetmosphere. This includes musicians and artists who enliven the streets and squares in the park and contribute to the entertainment with their music or art pieces.
Apart from the marching band, The African Tam Tams, who regularly perform at Adventureland, are very popular. The Country Band, which can be found at the Lucky Nugget Saloon and the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, is also very popular. In front of Casey's Corner, a pianist performs now and then.
Just keep your eyes and ears open so you don't miss any of these bands.
