Meet the Disney characters

A visit to Disneyland Paris isn’t complete until you’ve given Mickey Mouse a big hug? For many guests at the resort, that’s certainly true. Meeting the Disney characters is right at the top of the to-do list. Especially if you’re visiting with children, a meet-and-greet with Mickey, Goofy or Donald Duck is a must. But adults often have far more fun at these meet-and-greets than they expect as well. Just give it a try!
If you can’t imagine hugging Minnie Mouse or performing an Elvis song with Stitch, you could always go and meet the greatest Star Wars villain of all time. You can meet Darth Vader at Disneyland Paris too, if you dare.
Facing the Marvel superheroes at the Hero Training Centre probably takes a little less courage. Practise a few cool poses beforehand so you can take some great photos home with you.

For many young girls, meeting their favourite princess face to face is a dream come true. That makes a visit to the Princess Pavilion in Fantasyland a must for many families with children.

At meet-and-greets with the Disney characters, a Photo Pass photographer is usually on hand, so you can have photos taken in different poses. Of course, you can also take selfies or use your own camera if you prefer. No problem at all!

Food & Drink at Disneyland Paris

If you spend a whole day at Disneyland Paris, you’re bound to get hungry at some point. Between a ride on Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, a hot dog from Casey’s Corner or a portion of pasta from the Pizzeria Bella Notte might be enough. But in the evening, after you’ve walked several kilometres and had plenty of exciting experiences, you’ll probably want to sit down and enjoy a proper meal in peace. That’s no problem at Disneyland Paris, as there are plenty of options. Just make sure you book a table at your chosen restaurant in good time!

If you’ve booked a classic Disney package and added the Meal Plan, we recommend having dinner at the restaurant in your Disney Hotel. If you’d rather stay in the parks until the last minute, you can of course eat at one of the buffet or table-service restaurants there (but be warned: tables are extremely popular, so make sure you book well in advance). Or you could head to Disney Village and choose one of the restaurants there.
If you haven’t booked a Meal Plan or are staying off-site, you have even more options. You certainly won’t have to go hungry.

Good planning is important and can make your trip to Disneyland Paris much easier. But don’t overdo it. Don’t plan every minute of your day. Leave some time to simply go with the flow, take in your surroundings and avoid rushing from one attraction to the next.
Treat yourself to a coffee or an ice cream and sit on a bench at Central Plaza with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Watch the activity around you and enjoy the atmosphere. For many visitors, this is a completely new experience, but one they wouldn’t want to miss afterwards.
Give your children a break at the playground and let them burn off some energy there for an hour before heading to the next show or rollercoaster.
Take the time to explore quieter areas too, such as Adventure Isle.
