Inspired by Boulevard Haussmann and Place Dauphine, La Place de Rémy is a mini-land in the heart of Disney Adventure World: a miniature Paris that brings the Oscar-winning Pixar film Ratatouille to life. It is neither an exact reconstruction nor a copy, but a loving tribute to the City of Light and by far the most French of Pixar’s films.
You can enter the area from Toy Story Playland via Rue Auguste Gusteau and emerge more or less directly onto this beautiful square in the heart of Paris. Alternatively, take Allée des Marchands, which begins to the right of the large Buzz Lightyear figure. Stroll along the street and discover the many carefully crafted details that transport you to the Paris of Ratatouille. Take your time as you explore. La Place de Rémy rewards anyone who does not rush. Rémy’s relatives have taken up residence everywhere: on the façades, across the cobblestones, in corners and on ledges. Some particularly cheeky ones have settled in the most unexpected places. Keep your eyes open for the furry rodents.
The fountain is one of the central features of Place de Rémy. Take a closer look, as the cute rats can be found here too.
At Place de Rémy, you will find everything that makes for a good visit. Ratatouille: The Adventure is one of Disney Adventure World’s absolute highlights, a dark ride that is fun for the whole family. Bistrot Chez Rémy is the largest table-service restaurant in the park, while Boutique Chez Marianne – Souvenirs de Paris is the right place if you want to take a piece of Paris home with you.
