Would you like to meet Spider-Man, Iron Man or Captain Marvel in person? The Hero Training Center is the place to go. This is not a traditional meet-and-greet of the kind you may know from other encounters with Disney characters. Instead, you take part in an interactive training session with one of the Marvel superheroes.
At Avengers Campus, you are not simply a visitor but part of what is happening. As a recruit, you take an active role in the mission and prepare for your assignment with your trainer. Rather than posing for a quick photo, you complete a short training session, trying out different movements and poses and testing your skills against your superhero.
Your training session varies depending on the hero you meet. Spider-Man focuses on fast, dynamic movements, while Iron Man and Captain Marvel each bring their own style of interaction. This variation is part of the appeal and can make a return visit worthwhile, especially if you want to keep improving your skills as a recruit.
After entering the building, you receive a brief introduction before moving further into the Hero Training Center. On the way to your training session, display boards show a range of poses that may help you impress the Marvel heroes. You can use the waiting time to practise and prepare for your turn.
The experience ends with a special souvenir photo that differs from a traditional encounter with a Disney character. Rather than simply standing together in front of the camera, you become part of the scene and interact with the hero. This makes the Hero Training Center one of the more distinctive experiences at Avengers Campus.
