Billy Bob's Country & Western Saloon

You'll dance, relax, have a beer – simply have a lovely evening!

In the evening, Billy Bob’s Country & Western Saloon is one of the main venues in Disney Village. The building looks fairly unassuming from the outside, but inside you will find a traditional Western saloon with a stage and dance floor. Tables are arranged around the dance floor, where you can enjoy a cold drink or a few snacks. There is also seating on the first floor. The tables beside the gallery are particularly good, as they provide an unobstructed view across the entire venue.

Billy Bob’s Country & Western Saloon is the only place in Disney Village with live music every evening. A band usually performs, although the focus is not always on country music. Regular themed evenings and even themed weeks feature music chosen to match the occasion. Popular events include the New Orleans Festival, Fiesta Latina and the Jazz Days.

You can also work off some energy on the dance floor at Billy Bob’s. Line dancing naturally takes centre stage when country music is playing. Introductory classes are held on selected dates, allowing beginners to learn the basics and soon join the more experienced dancers. Even if choreography is not your thing, you can still take to the dance floor, as most evenings feature much more than country music.

Food at the saloon

Billy Bob’s Country & Western Saloon serves food as well as offering live music. One option is a set menu that includes a main course, dessert and drink. You can choose from two or three main courses, including a vegetarian option. A similar set menu is available for children.
You can also choose individual items from the snack menu, which features a range of Tex-Mex classics.
For a more substantial meal, Billy Bob’s Buffet and La Grange are located in the same building.

Tips on Billy Bob's

  • For an evening snack, the food available here is perfectly adequate. Those looking for a more substantial meal can visit Billy Bob’s Buffet, which is connected to the Country & Western Saloon. La Grange is also located in the same building.
  • Billy Bob’s is only partly suitable for a visit with children. The music is very loud, children are often not particularly comfortable on the bar stools, and the venue is first and foremost a bar.
  • For fans of country music, a visit is a must.
  • The small terrace in front of the saloon is pleasant on warm summer evenings, although waiting times for drinks and snacks are often very long.

Billy Bob's Buffet

Billy Bob’s Buffet is located on the ground floor of Billy Bob’s Country & Western Saloon in Disney Village. A side entrance leads directly into the restaurant, so you do not have to go through the saloon.

The buffet serves the same food as La Grange, which is located two and a half storeys above in the same building. It is a Country & Western-style Tex-Mex buffet, with barbecue dishes, chilli and salads, as well as familiar options such as nuggets and chips for children and a separate dessert section. Anyone who has eaten at La Grange will know what to expect.

Why, then, are there two restaurants serving the same food? Billy Bob’s Buffet occupies an existing space that had fallen out of use: the former bar and pre-show area of the now closed Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Reopening this area has also helped to ease the often strained restaurant capacity in Disney Village. However, as the building has only one kitchen, offering a different selection of food would present a logistical challenge. La Grange is located on an upper floor, while Billy Bob’s Buffet can be reached at ground level and is therefore more accessible.

The atmosphere at Billy Bob’s Buffet is relaxed, and the décor still reflects the space’s former use.

Even without a reservation, it can be worth checking for a table here when you are hungry. If there are no tables available upstairs, you can often still find one downstairs. Reservations can, of course, be made in advance and are always recommended.
