Josh D'Amaro unveiled that Disneyland Paris will get an area dedicated to one of the most popular Disney films of all time: The Lion King. This new area, which will be built on the shores of the lake at Disney's Adventure World, will take you on a journey through the African Savanna. Here you will immerse yourself in the adventures of Simba, Timon, Pumba and other well-known characters from the Disney film.
The central element of the new themed area will be Pride Rock, around which a breathtaking water attraction will be built. This attraction will allow you to experience the story of Simba as he develops from a little cub to the king of the lions. The design and story of the water ride will be based on the classic Disney animated film from 1994.
The attraction, which is reminiscent of the classic Disney animated film Splash Mountain, is not the only thing that Lion King Land has to offer. In this new area, you will enter the world of Pride Lands. Here you will be greeted by Disney characters, and you will find a themed restaurant and various shopping opportunities.
