Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park is a true shopping paradise. Numerous boutiques and shops line both sides of the street, just like you would expect to find on the high street of a small, well-kept town.
The shops offer much more than just souvenirs, even though these are indeed the main attraction. In addition to soft toys, books and coffee mugs, there is a wide range of clothing, kitchen utensils and office supplies. The souvenirs range from keychains and magnets to unique Disney-themed items. There are also numerous treats on offer, from chocolate and cookies to sweets.
When Euro Disney opened in 1992, the shops on Main Street offered a truly stunning range of goods. In principle, every shop sold what its name promised. The Main Street Motor Shop, for example, sold cars – real cars!
However, it soon became apparent that this range of goods found few enthusiasts and therefore few customers in a European theme park. After a short time, the range was reduced and essentially limited to souvenirs. In the meantime, it has become much more diverse again.
While cars are no longer available for purchase, there are plenty of other things to explore and enjoy. From clothing and soft toys to tableware and bathroom accessories, you can find everything your heart desires. Shopping at Disneyland Paris is not just a necessity, it's an absolute pleasure that you'll surely enjoy!
