Alcohol at the Disney Parks
Originally, Disneyland Park in Paris, like all other of Disney's Magic Kingdom style Parks, was supposed to be completely alcohol-free, because the park is primarily aimed at children and young people - at least that's the concept.
Soon after the opening, it became clear that this concept would not be sustainable in Europe, especially in the large wine nation of France. Especially at the table service restaurants, where multi-course menus are served, the guests were incomprehensible if they weren't even allowed to drink a glass of wine with their meal.
For this reason, the strict rules regarding alcohol have been relaxed somewhat. Alcohol is now served at the table service restaurants, and beer is also served at some fast food restaurants, but only in connection with something to eat. This practice is designed to prevent excessive alcohol consumption within the parks.
Le Rendez-Vous Gourmand, a kind of mini version of the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot, has been taking place in Walt Disney Studios Park since 2017. In addition to specialties from various European countries, there are also fitting wines and some types of beer.
