Starbucks Coffee Bar im Disney Village

The search for your caffeine fix is over, because at Starbucks it’s all about coffee

There is a Starbucks in Disney Village. The US coffee chain serves its familiar range of coffee drinks, teas, Frappuccinos, orange juice and other beverages here as well. There is also a selection of hot and cold snacks, cakes and pastries. Whether you stop by for breakfast or a small snack during the day, there are options beyond coffee.

As Starbucks can be found in many German cities, its relatively high prices are unlikely to surprise most visitors. A cappuccino or latte costs more here than at many other locations. You can get a cheaper cappuccino or coffee at the railway station outside the Disney Parks or in Disneyland Park, for example at the Cable Car Bake Shop or Victoria’s. However, these drinks usually come from an automatic coffee machine, so they lack a little character and may not taste quite as good as the coffee at Starbucks. Whether that justifies the difference in price is ultimately up to you.

This Starbucks branch opens early in the morning and serves breakfast. If you have not booked breakfast at your hotel, the coffee bar in Disney Village is a convenient option. Alongside the usual sweet pastries, including muffins and cakes, it offers several sandwiches and a dedicated breakfast selection.

What makes this branch special
This was the first branch in Europe to feature Starbucks’ new design. It was also the company’s first environmentally friendly coffee house in Europe. Energy-saving light bulbs were used, water-saving fittings were installed in the toilets, and some of the building materials and furniture were made from recycled materials.
It was also the 50th Starbucks branch in France and opened to mark the fifth anniversary of the company’s operations in the country.

Opening hours
This Starbucks branch is open daily from 7.00 am until 1.00 am. Coffee and snacks are therefore available here at almost any time of the day or night.

Starbucks at your Disney hotel

Are you staying at Disney Hotel Santa Fe or Disney Hotel Cheyenne? And do you love Starbucks coffee? Then you’ve made the perfect choice! Both hotels have their own branch of the popular US coffee shop chain. You can get your favourite drink and some tasty snacks here throughout the day. So there’s no need to walk all the way to Disney Village, as you can enjoy a fresh coffee right at your hotel. Really handy, isn’t it?!

    The Coffee Grinder At Market Street, which branches off from Main Street, U.S.A., you will find the small coffee shop called Coffee Grinder. Here, you can get drinks and small snacks.

Tips on Starbucks

  • In the morning, around the time the Disney Parks open, Starbucks is usually very busy, and the queue often stretches outside.
    Many guests stop by at this time for a quick caffeine fix or a light breakfast before heading into the park, so it is best to avoid this period.
  • As usual at Starbucks, this branch offers free Wi-Fi. As this is not available in most Disney Hotels, you can check your emails here or send a few holiday photos to your friends.

Once upon a time in Disney Village

from Buffalo Trading Co. to Starbucks

Before Starbucks arrived in Disney Village, a shop called Buffalo Trading Co. occupied this very spot. Its theme fitted well with the nearby Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show and Billy Bob’s Country & Western Saloon. The exterior matched the setting, as did the merchandise sold inside. Western fans could buy clothing to complete the look.
The Buffalo Trading Co. shop was also hard to miss. Outside stood a huge wooden display featuring oversized Western accessories, including a cowboy hat, a giant Native American headdress, a horseshoe and a revolver.
