Wait times at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World
To make the most of your visit to Disneyland Paris, it’s important to think about waiting times before you go. This will help you plan your time in the parks and see and experience as much as possible.
You’ve probably already heard the rumours and claims circulating online that waiting times at the Disney Parks are unbearably long. In reality, though, it’s not quite that bad, at least if you plan your visit carefully. Of course, some attractions at Disneyland Paris are so popular that long queues form almost all the time. But when designing the resort, the Imagineers also created various areas where there are plenty of things to discover, observe and learn about without having to queue. So there’s usually something to do even when you’re not riding a carousel or hurtling through a loop on a rollercoaster.
How long you have to wait for an attraction depends on several factors. Its popularity naturally plays a part, but crowd levels in the park and the time of day also affect the length of the queues.
Disney’s Premier Access, the Single Rider Line and Extra Magic Time can all help you save time and avoid some queues.
Visiting certain attractions during parades or popular shows can also be a good option, as waiting times tend to be noticeably shorter at these times.
You can find current waiting times for individual attractions on the information boards located at central points in both theme parks. The app also shows current waiting times while you’re in the parks.
Overview of waiting times at the attractions at Disneyland Paris
Below, we’ve put together an overview of typical waiting times based on our experience. You can use these figures to help plan your visit, but bear in mind that they are estimates rather than fixed waiting times.
The figures are based on a very busy day at Disneyland Paris. During the off-season, especially when the weather isn’t particularly good, waiting times can be significantly shorter. On special occasions such as Christmas or Halloween, however, they can also be longer.
Very long waiting times ~90 minutes
Long queues form throughout most of the day at some of Disneyland Paris’s most popular attractions. In some cases, this is also due to the attraction’s relatively low capacity or a slow boarding process.

Long waiting times ~60 minutes
Some of Disneyland Paris’s most popular attractions have a high capacity or appeal mainly to particular groups of visitors. At these attractions, waiting times are often around an hour.

Average waiting times ~30 minutes
At the following attractions, waiting times are usually around 30 minutes on most days. Most visitors consider this fairly normal for a theme park rather than a particular inconvenience.

Some attractions in the two theme parks generally have very short waiting times, usually no more than 10 minutes, even on busy days.
