Newport Bay Club at Disneyland Paris seen from the seaside

Disney Newport Bay Club - maritime luxury

Want to book relaxation? Yes, it's that easy! The Newport Bay Club is a maritime hotel with a nice Disney touch.

The practical dlp.info hotel guide to Disney's Newport Bay Club

Disney Newport Bay Club is a hotel in the sophisticated style of the typical east coast architecture, which can be found mainly in the seaside resorts. As soon as you see the hotel, you feel like you are in a seaside resort on the New England coast at the end of the 19th century: blue and white striped awnings, white rocking chairs on the veranda, bright green lawn and in front of it the lake, where is also a lighthouse.

Hotel facilities
With a total of 1093 rooms and 13 suites, the Newport Bay Club is one of the largest hotels in Europe and the largest of the Disney Hotels in Disneyland Paris. Nevertheless, no guest has to miss the typical Disney feeling or even good service.

Maritime flair at the Disney Newport Bay Club
The rooms of the hotel are designed in a maritime style, especially the colors blue and white. Most rooms have two double beds, so that up to four people can stay here. But there are also rooms with a single king size bed for two people and so-called family rooms are available that can accommodate up to six people. There are also some wheelchair accessible rooms in the Newport Bay Club. If you are interested in a specific room equipment, you should state your requests when placing your reservation.

Compass Club: Club Level with extra luxury
Of course, besides its normal rooms the hotel Disney Newport Bay Club also offers suites and club level rooms with exceptional service. At the suites the maritime dreams come true. The offer ranges from the honeymoon suite to the resort suite to the presidential suite.
A separate reception ensures a very relaxed atmosphere right from the start.

The "Compass Club" also has access to a separate reception. The rooms of the "Compass Club" are located in the main building of the hotel, on the floors 7 & 8 and offer additional services compared to the standard rooms, such as the free use of a special lounge, in which a separate breakfast is also served.

Pool and Health Center
The hotel Disney Newport Bay Club also has a pool with indoor and outdoor areas, which are beautifully designed: a large ship sails through the pool area. In the Nantucket Pool and Health Club, as the wellness area is called, you can not only swim, there is also a fitness room, a sauna and a whirlpool

The younger guests of the hotel are also taken care of. There is a play corner and a babysitting service is offered too.

Special services of this hotel
All Disney Hotel guests benefit from certain special services, such as the Extra Magic Time, free use of the shuttle bus to the parks and free use of the central main car park.

Restaurants & bars at Disney Newport Bay Club

Yacht Club dining room

Yacht club
An elegant a la carte restaurant that invites you to relax in a cozy atmosphere. The design of this restaurant at Disney Newport Bay Club is reminiscent of the dining room of a sailing ship from the 19th century.
The selection of dishes ranges from fish and lobster to grilled meat dishes. We can recommend it!

Cape Cod
A little more casual than the Yacht Club, this buffet restaurant is reminiscent of the dining room of the rich plantations on the New England coast.
The menu ranges from the cuisine of the Mediterranean countries to (of course) specialties from New England. The offer ranges from sophisticated delights to pizza and pasta.

Captain's Quarter
A Bar with a luxurious, pleasant atmosphere and a wide range of drinks and snacks.
Here you can end the evening comfortably.

Compass Club

Club Lounge of the Compass Club

The Compass Club is the successor to the Admirals Floor, the former Club Level of the Newport Bay Club.
A limited number of rooms and suites on floors 7 & 8 of the hotel offer a very special comfort:

  •     Luggage service
  •     Parking service
  •     Separate reception
  •     Lounge with snacks & drinks
  •     American breakfast
  •     Tea and coffee selection in the room

The architecture of Newport Bay Club

The Disney Hotel Newport Bay Club was designed by architect Robert A. M. Stern, who, in addition to many projects for the Walt Disney Company, has also designed many renomée projects for numerous US institutions (e.g. at Yale University and the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta). The hotel at Disneyland Paris is reminiscent of the large sea-side resorts on the American east coast and the Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Walt Disney World, Florida, which was also designed by Stern. There is, however, the significant difference that the hotel was kept in far more subtle colors so that, as Stern himself said, it was adapted to the French lighting conditions. The elegant atmosphere of the Newport Bay Club is also a deliberate alternative to the Hotel Cheyenne, also designed by Stern, a Western-style hotel.
