My Royal Dream – Children’s dreams come true!

What little girl doesn’t dream of being a princess for a day? At Disneyland Paris, that dream can come true! With the “My Royal Dream” experience, every little girl aged 4 to 14 can transform into her favourite Disney princess. Young princes can join in too.

At the Disneyland Hotel, this experience is available all year round. The My Royal Dream Studio is located on the first floor, and this is where the transformation takes place. Make-up, hairstyling and the right dress can make any girl look like a true princess in no time, whether her favourite is Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel or Belle. As long as she is one of the Disney princesses, the transformation can begin.
Prince outfits with matching accessories are available for boys.

If you decide to try the “Princess for a Day” experience, you can choose between make-up and hairstyling only or add the matching princess dress as well.

If you wish, a professional photographer can also take photos of the little princess. At the end, you choose your favourite photo and receive it in a photo frame as a memento of the experience.

Once the transformation is complete, every newly transformed princess will surely want to meet her own favourite princess. The easiest place to do this is in Fantasyland, where the Princess Pavilion is located. With a bit of luck, you may also come across one or two royal highnesses elsewhere in the park, ready to grant an audience.

Older princesses and princes can also take part in the My Royal Dream experience. In that case, however, you will need to provide your own suitable outfit, as costumes are only available for children aged 4 to 14.

The Disney Princesses

Here you’ll find a list of all the official Disney Princesses. Disney itself has defined which characters belong on this list, and certain criteria have to be met. As a result, not every princess from the wider Disney universe has been given the status of an “official” princess.
There are currently 13 official Disney Princesses:

  • Snow White – from the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
  • Cinderella – from the film Cinderella (1950)
  • Aurora – from the film Sleeping Beauty (1959)
  • Ariel – from the film The Little Mermaid (1989)
  • Belle – from the film Beauty and the Beast (1991)
  • Jasmine – from the film Aladdin (1992)
  • Pocahontas – from the film Pocahontas (1995)
  • Mulan – from the film Mulan (1998)
  • Tiana – from the film The Princess and the Frog (2009)
  • Rapunzel – from the film Tangled (2010)
  • Merida – from the film Brave (2012)
  • Vaiana (Moana) – from the film of the same name (2016)
  • Raya – from Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)

Missing Anna or Elsa from this list? You’re probably not alone among Disney Princess fans. However, neither of them has yet been given official Disney Princess status, so they are still waiting for their coronation ceremony.

  • The My Royal Dream experience should be booked in advance via the Disneyland Paris app.
  • You can make a reservation as soon as you have booked a Disney package and received your booking confirmation. Without a Disney package, you can book an appointment up to one month in advance.
  • The transformation into a princess takes 20–40 minutes.
  • The My Royal Dream Studio is open daily from 8.10 am to 7.00 pm.
  • Please arrive at the Royal Collection Boutique on time for your appointment. Make sure you are punctual, as appointments for the Princess for a Day experience are only held for 15 minutes.
  • At the Disneyland Hotel, you can choose from all Disney Princesses as well as Tinker Bell.
  • If you would rather not be a princess, you can also be transformed into a prince.
  • This experience is primarily aimed at children aged 4 to 14. Guests outside this age range can also take part in My Royal Dream and have a makeover, but no costume is included.
  • You can keep the costume included in the package you booked.
  • The experience is currently only available to guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel.

Princess for a Day – Price Guide

Three options are available:

  • Make-up and hairstyling (if the hair is long enough) for €95
  • Make-up, hairstyling (if the hair is long enough) and a princess dress for €190
  • The Premium Package with a high-quality princess dress, plus make-up, hairstyling (if the hair is long enough) and nail art for €440

Each package includes a photo shoot and a framed photo as a memento of this special experience.
If you would like to take home additional photos of the princess or prince, these are available for an extra charge.
