Fun fact about the ‘Flying Carpets over Agrabah’ attraction

Originally, there were no plans to include such an attraction in this area. In fact, there are several indications that a similar ride would have been better suited to Adventureland in Disneyland Park, near the Hakuna Matata restaurant. It was only later that the concept was adapted and ‘Flying Carpets over Agrabah’ was incorporated into what was then the Walt Disney Studios Park, in order to expand the range of attractions on offer for families.

Tips for the ‘Flying Carpets over Agrabah’ ride

  • Premier Access is available for this attraction. In practice, however, it’s rarely worth it here, as waiting times are usually manageable.
  • If possible, take a seat in the front row. From here, you can steer your flying carpet yourself and adjust the height during the ride.
