Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland from the outside

Lucky Nugget Saloon

A saloon straight out of a book – the heroes of the Wild West feel particularly at home here.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon is impossible to miss in Frontierland, its presence bold and inviting. Nestled just behind Fort Comstock, this lively hub of dining beckons you to experience the true spirit of the Wild West.

The restaurant brims with the rugged charm of a true Western saloon, feeling less polished than the Silver Spur Steakhouse and more like the bustling hangouts where cowboys and fortune-seekers once swapped stories.
Step into the authentically adorned dining room and let your eyes wander to the grand stage curtain, painted like a mural. This colorful tableau celebrates Frontierland’s attractions, past and present, making it a must-see for anyone enchanted by Disneyland Park’s history and its legendary eateries.

The dining space unfolds in distinct sections. Up front, spacious tables gather groups right before the stage, ready to be joined for larger parties. Tiered bar tables line the sides, where guests sit shoulder to shoulder, savoring an open view of the action. Above it all, a theater-style balcony promises the best vantage point, though it is rarely open to guests.

And who can say? Maybe the next table seats a lucky prospector, just back from the goldfields with pockets jingling with newfound treasure.

Entertainment on the stage of the Lucky Nugget Saloon

The Lucky Nugget Saloon occasionally hosts seasonal entertainment. In the early years of Disneyland Paris, an authentic Wild West-style can-can show was performed here, and later, there was live music from time to time, and even a puppet theatre made a guest appearance.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon in der Vergangenheit

Step into the past with me and discover the colourful journey of The Lucky Nugget, a place brimming with stories since Disneyland Park first opened its gates.
In the early years of the resort, the Lucky Nugget Saloon restaurant hosted a real cancan show.
As guests savoured hearty Western dishes, the stage would come alive with a lively revue, complete with high-kicking can-can dancers and a generous dose of laughter.
After a few years, this show was discontinued, and the venue was converted into a restaurant where you could meet Disney characters.
Yet even that chapter was short-lived. The restaurant soon returned to its classic roots, but it never lost its flair for surprises. Today, you might stumble upon a whimsical tea party with Disney characters or catch a charming puppet show on the front stage. To see what magic awaits, just check the display by the entrance.
