Bixby Babies

Come along on a journey through time and visit this somewhat old-fashioned boutique.

Initially, this shop on Main Street was home to the Ribbons & Bows Hat Shop. Then it housed the 'Bixby Babies' shop. Here, the Bixby Brothers sold fashion and accessories for little ones. Of course, they also had a selection of cute soft toys on offer, and layettes were also available. In other words, everything to do with babies.

However, this range did not seem ideal for the long term, so a few years ago, they made a radical change to their product range. Now their boutique on Main Street, U.S.A. is all about Christmas! Christmas tree decorations, tea light holders, stockings to fill, advent calendars, tableware and many more items in festive designs. Here, Christmas fans can shop all year round and dream of the most wonderful time of the year.

The Bixby Brothers have gone to great lengths to adapt their Victorian-style shop to their audience. Both children and young parents will feel at home in this atmosphere, as the entire sales area is decorated with Baby Minnie Mouse and other cute decorative elements, making shopping an absolute pleasure. If you let this atmosphere get to you too much, a shopping spree is inevitable, which is precisely what the shop owner wants.

The Bixby Brothers
The Bixby Brothers are hardworking businessmen who have owned and operated several shops on Main Street. They originally had a fashion boutique for adults, but this has since been taken over by the Emporium.
Currently, they only run 'Bixby Babies', but their adaptability and forward-thinking approach make it exciting to see what the future will bring.

Once upon a time... before Bixby Babies

If you look closely, you can't miss the sign that says 'Ribbons & Bows Hat Shop' on the façade of the building.
In the early years of Disneyland Park, one of the two rooms in this shop was actually a hat shop. Here, you could buy classic headwear as well as ties and socks – products that you would find in a well-stocked men's outfitter.
At the back of the shop, a small workshop housed old sewing machines. If you wanted, you could have your name embroidered on your hat to give it a personal touch.
