Shopping im Frontierland

Souvenirs and mementos of your stay in Frontierland can be purchased in these shops.

Shopping in the Wild West? Surely you just flash your revolver, grab your loot, and thunder out of town at breakneck speed. That is the outlaw's way, but with the sheriff and his posse in hot pursuit, it rarely ends well.

The respectable folks of Thunder Mesa prefer a more refined approach. They stroll into the local shops, try on a fresh cowboy hat, browse for trinkets to brighten up their log cabins, and gather supplies for home. With their arms full, they head to the counter to settle up. Those with a solid reputation might even leave with a promise to pay later.

In this way, cowboys, Native Americans, trappers and law-abiding citizens live together in relative harmony.

Here in the depths of the Wild West, the small town of Thunder Mesa has been founded, and there is now even a railway connection, but organising supplies for the merchants is still a challenge. It is therefore not surprising that there are only a limited number of shops in this western town.

You can mingle with the customers with complete peace of mind; everyone who is willing to spend a dollar or two, or rather a euro or two, is welcome here. So, take your time to look around and succumb to the lure of shopping. The friendly shop owner will even pack your purchases in bags and hand them to you or, if you wish, deliver them directly to your accommodation (shopping service) – yes, that's how modern they are here in Thunder Mesa.

If you fancy yourself a modern-day gold prospector—otherwise known as a pin trader — then the Pueblo Trading Post is your Saturday destination. On select Saturdays, rare treasures arrive under the sheriff's and his deputies' watchful eyes, only to vanish in a flash as eager collectors snap them up. If this frenzy is not your style, steer clear of the Trading Post on Saturday mornings and explore the quieter shops of Frontierland instead.
