The practical hotel guide to Disney Sequoia Lodge

Disney Sequioa Lodge is located directly at Lake Disney and surrounded by a forest. The hotel is reminiscent of the hotels at the North American National Parks. It is named after the giant sequoia trees. These not only give the Sequoia Lodge its name, but can also be found on the entire hotel grounds, because in addition to pine and cedar trees, there are also 500 sequoias that were specially imported from the USA and Canada. A hunter or ranger, who was just out in the woods in Montana, would also feel like home in this hotel.

Hotel facilities
The hotel Disney Sequoia Lodge was given a subtle Bambi theme during the last renovation. Bambi, Thumper and their friends now decorate duvets and other elements of the hotel rooms. There are a total of 1,011 rooms and 9 suites which are spread over the six-story main building and a few smaller outbuildings. The rooms at the Sequoia Lodge are equipped with two double beds, so that four people can be accommodated, or one King Size bed for a romantic couple's getaway. The architecture of Disney Sequoia Lodge

The Sequioa Lodge was designed by the French architect Antoine Grumbach.
Its design is reminiscent of the large American national park resorts in the Rocky Mountains. So it is an extensive forest and park landscape with romantic creeks, pavilions, quiet corners and more, in which original American redwood trees were planted.
The paths through the forest landscape invite you to take a leisurely stroll, but you should always be careful to not to be catched by a bear. Rumor has it that wild grizzlies have been heard who might surprise unsuspecting visitors...
The architect Grumbach paid attention to the good environmental sustainability of the project in the entire design of the hotel. So a lot of natural materials were used like woods, stones and copper.
Incidentally, Grumbach is the only Frenchman to have designed one of the Disney Hotels at Disneyland Resort Paris
