Though the fire is seldom lit, when it glows, it fills the space with warmth and a welcoming, cosy glow, even if no real barbecuing happens there.

Once upon a time: character dining
For a while, the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue restaurant offered character dining, where you could enjoy your meal with Mickey Mouse and his friends. In keeping with the setting, Woody or Jessie from Toy Story was often present as well.
Currently, character dining with Disney characters is no longer offered at this restaurant.
