The Chaparral Theatre became a sparkling Arendelle, with snow-laden trees and shimmering icicles stretching endlessly in every direction.
The moment you settled onto a bench, music filled the air, and dancers swept onto the stage from every corner. Soon, the beloved stars Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf stepped into the spotlight.
You were swept into the interactive show, encouraged to lend your voice and join the festivities.
Arendelle’s annual winter festival was in full swing, and Anna herself invited you to discover her kingdom and help plan a special surprise for Elsa.
Together with the other guests, you became part of a grand choir, ready to honour Elsa with a heartfelt musical surprise. To practise a little, Anna sang her famous song ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’ If you weren't quite sure of the lyrics, it didn't matter because the lyrics were displayed on a large screen, just like in karaoke, so you always knew where you were in the song. Depending on whether the show was performed in English or French, the lyrics were, of course, in the respective language.
When the song ended, Kristoff and Olaf bounded onto the stage. Olaf, the world’s most summer-loving snowman, launched into his favourite tune, ‘In Summer,’ inviting everyone to sing out loud. Beach balls soared joyfully through the crowd, adding to the fun.
Then things took a romantic turn as Anna and Hans sang the duet ‘Liebe öffnet Tür'n’ (Love Opens Doors), and you were invited to sing along.
Anna turned to the audience and asked if they knew her sister Elsa’s favourite song. Of course, it was ‘Lass jetzt los’ (Let It Go). As everyone joined in singing ‘Let it go’ or ‘Libérée, Délivrée,’ the theatre vibrated with the voices of over 800 people. The mountains of snow and ice seemed to come alive as Elsa made her grand entrance, surrounded by swirling snow, and added her voice to the chorus.
Slowly, almost everyone was hoarse, and the show was coming to an end. Anna, Elsa and their friends said goodbye to you and all the other spectators before disappearing back into wintry Arendelle.
