Colors of the attendance level forecast:
lightly frequented | normaly frequented | well attended | highly frequented | very highly frequented | extremly frequented single days | we are still calculating... |
Note: Crowds are projected in relation to average crowds. "Lightly attended" does not mean the parks are empty, just that we expect them to be the least crowded relative to the average!
January is one of the quieter months at Disneyland Paris – and that's exactly what makes it so special. Although the Christmas decorations are taken down at the beginning of January and the rest of the Christmas program comes to an end, the winter atmosphere remains. If you're lucky, a thin layer of snow will cover Sleeping Beauty's castle, giving it a fairytale glow.
In terms of weather, you should be prepared for cold temperatures – gloves, a hat, and a scarf are a must. However, many of the attractions are indoors, and you can also warm up nicely during the shows.
Visitor numbers are usually low, which means short waiting times and relaxed strolls through the park. January offers perfect conditions, especially for repeat visitors and photographers.
An insider tip for true fans: in the cool season, Phantom Manor seems even more mysterious at dusk.
