„I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, wheather we be six, or sixty.“
Just like Walt Disney once said, all of his films are not just for children, but for the child in each of us, regardless of our age. The same applies of course to the Disney Parks and in our case specifically to Disneyland Paris. Most of the attractions there are accessible for all ages and are very popular with visitors of all ages. Nevertheless, there are of course a few attractions that appeal more to the adult audience. These include above all the so-called thrill rides, which particularly delight adrenaline junkies and when a certain height or a certain age is required to be able to go on the attraction at all. These include the Tower of Terror and Space Mountain, to name just two of the highlights.
Disneyland Paris also offers special leisure activities for adults; For example, very different events take place every month at the Disney Village - from dance classes to live concerts. You can find out more here. Not to be forgotten are the hotel bars, with delicious cocktails and many other drinks. Some bars also have sports broadcasts or live music. Just ask your concierge about the current program.
Sport & wellness
If you are a sports enthusiast, you will also get your money's worth, because in addition to swimming pools at the Disney Hotels Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, Hotel New York and Disneyland Hotel, there is a jogging trail that leads around Lake Disney and is even accessible for non- Visitors to Disneyland Paris. The resort also has a 27-hole golf course. You can find out more here.
Or would you like to relax and be pampered all around? Even then you are spot on at Disneyland, because some of the Disney Hotels have swimming pools (some with whirlpools) and a sauna where you can relax. There is also the Celestia Spa, the wellness temple of the Disneyland Hotel, where nothing is left to be desired. From cosmetic treatments to massages, everything is offered here that serves beauty and relaxation.
Eating & drinking
The topic of "eating & drinking" is not neglected at Disneyland either; Table service restaurants such as Walt’s on Main Street or Captain Jack's in Adventureland offer delicious menus in a great atmosphere that invite you to linger and enjoy. If you want to know more about it, you can find an overview of the restaurants at dlp.info.
And if it should be really classy, reserve a table in the California Grill, where you can have a really magical experience with the Sparkling Experience.
Last but not least, Disneyland Paris is a place where you can stroll and shop excellently. You can shop not only in the numerous boutiques in the two theme parks and in the Disney Village. Just a stone's throw away there is a huge shopping center in the Val d'Europe and right next to it an outlet shopping center with shops of numerous well-known brands. Here you can indulge in shopping pleasure until the shopping bags burst.
As you can see, the options that Disneyland Paris offers for adults are diverse and go far beyond roller coasters.
