Welcome to a leisurely ride along Main Street on an old tram that looks as if it has been brought directly from San Francisco to DLP.
The tram, with its beautifully designed exterior, is a replica of the iconic San Francisco trams, adding to the authentic feel of Main Street. Even if it's not necessarily worth waiting in line for a long time for this ride (waiting times are usually very short), it's still enjoyable to take the ride from Town Square to Central Plaza, especially when the weather is nice.
Classic car enthusiasts in particular will love this leisurely ride, because where else can you find this classic mode of transport except in a museum?
For our young guests, a special treat awaits. Some lucky children get the chance to ride right next to the driver in the driver's seat – a moment that often becomes the highlight of their day. Don't hesitate to ask if the cast member does not offer this service on their own initiative.
In keeping with the tram theme, the Cable Car Bake Shop, situated roughly in the middle of Main Street, is a charming eatery that offers a variety of baked goods and refreshments, perfect for a quick snack or a leisurely meal.
As you explore the three carriages, you'll notice the advertising signs, each one a nod to the diverse attractions, restaurants, and facilities within the resort. It's a unique way to get a glimpse of what the resort has to offer.
You can easily distinguish the carriages by their numbers: 101, 102 and 103.
At the bottom of the carriages, you will see the words' Main Flower and Market Streets'. This was not chosen at random, of course, but refers to the names of the two small side streets off Main Street, U.S.A.
