Das wohl längste und größte Festival des Jahres startet diese Woche mit dem Food & Wine Festival 2023 in EPCOT – und wir haben für Dich alles zusammengetragen, was Du wissen musst, um Dir während des Festivals gut informiert die Bäuche vollzuschlagen! Natürlich erfährst Du hier auch mehr zu den Eat to the Beat-Konzerten und dem Merchandise, das exklusiv beim Festival verkauft wird.

Die große Übersicht zum Food & Wine Festival 2023

Ab dem 27. Juli beginnt in Epcot das Food & Wine Festival. Bis zum 18. November heißt es „Eat around the world in EPCOT“ mit dem Global Marketplace. Wie jedes Jahr dürfen auch die Eat To The Beat Konzerte und Remy´s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak (eine Art Schnitzeljagd, bei der Du kleine Remys in EPCOT suchen musst und am Ende eine kleine Belohnung bekommst, wenn Du alle gefunden hast) nicht fehlen.

Damit fangen wir auch gleich mit einer Übersicht der Menüs der Global Marketplace-Stände an. Ein kleiner Tipp vorweg: Im Brew-Wing Lab kannst Du übrigens auch ein paar Muppets begegnen, zumindest an den installierten Bildschirmen! Ein Teil des Food & Wine Festival 2023 in EPCOT ist natürlich – wie in jedem Jahr – auch die “Schatzsuche”, die den Namen Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak trägt. Dabei ist es Deine Aufgabe, rund um das World Showcase in bzw. an den Buden des Festivals nach kleinen Figuren von Remy, der kochenden Ratte aus dem Pixar Film “Ratatouille” Ausschau zu halten. Hast Du Remy an einer Stelle entdeckt, klebst Du den passenden Sticker an die entsprechende Stelle auf Deiner Karte. Die Karte mitsamt Stickern bekommst Du in vielen der größeren Geschäfte in Epcot, sie kostet 9,99$. Ein weiterer Teil des Food & Wine Festivals ist Emile’s Fromage Montage. Dabei sammelst Du für bestimmte gekaufte Gerichte, die Du an einigen der Stände des Festivals finden kannst, Stempel in einem kleinen Heft. In all diesen Gerichten ist Käse verarbeitet, daher der Name “Fromage Montage”. Hast Du fünf Stempel gesammelt, kannst Du Dir Deine Belohnung abholen: Ein Erdbeer-Cheesecake-Eis mit einem kleinen Käsekuchen als Topping, serviert in einem Souvenirglas aus Plastik.
