Disneyland Paris: Travel by train

Due to its proximity to Paris, Disneyland can be easily reached by train. Especially since the range of fast train connections from European train stations to Paris has been steadily expanded. The connection to the Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy train station, which is in the immediate distance of the resort, is constantly improving. It is important to know that not only does the local train company offer trips to Paris, but that the French capital is also very easy to reach by Eurostar,  Thalys, and there is also a TGV connection from many cities. If you like to travel at night or want to arrive at Disneyland in the morning well rested, then night trains are recommended. There are regular connections from almost all states. A reservation is usually required here, so you should book your ticket a bit in advance. The central train station at Disneyland Paris is called Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy. This station is only served directly by a few departure stations, but it is often necessary to change at the Gare du Nord or one of the other Parisian train stations.

  • Gare d'Austerlitz: Take metro line 5 in the direction of “Bobigny Pablo Picasso” to the “Bastion” stop. There you have to change to line 1 towards "Château de Vincennes", which you leave at "Gare de Lyon". There you take the RER line A to the final stop "Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy Parcs Disneyland".
  • Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord: Take metro line 4 in the direction of "Porte d'Orléans" to the "Chatelet-Les-Halles" stop and change there to RER line A in the direction of "Parcs Disneyland".
  • Gare de Lyon: Here you can get on the RER line A in the direction of “Parcs Disneyland” and continue to the final stop.

If you take the train to Disneyland and want to go directly to one of the two theme parks, you can use the luggage storage at the respective park entrance. There is a similar service in the train station, but the opening times here are not coordinated with the opening times of the park. Directly in front of the station there is a large bus station where the shuttles to the Disney Hotels, to the hotels in Val de France and to many other external hotels are running from. Many public transport bus lines stop here and go to the surrounding towns and cities.
